  Abstract: Objective/Meaning To discuss the development prospect of combined application of wearable device and digital hospital. Methods/Process Systematically summarizing the external environment of combined application of wearable device and digital hospital in China by PEST analysis. Results/Conclusion The supportive policy environment, potential market development opportunities, current social health situation and information technological level create favorable conditions for the combined application of wearable device and digital hospital. However, scattered management system and traditional concepts also pose challenges to their effective combination. The combination of wearable device and digital hospital needs to optimize the profit model on the basis of ensuring product quality and improving information security management.
