Abstract: Infertility is defined as the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse. Focusing on the characteristics of infertility patients with Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), such as positive antiphospholipid antibodies, prethrombotic state, and immune abnormalities, and based on the analysis of typical cases, this paper proposes that the core pathogenesis involves deficiency of both the spleen and kidney, liver depression, and blood stasis. The clinical treatment often adopts TCM pattern differentiation and treatment, primarily focusing on tonifying the kidney and strengthening the spleen, soothing the liver, and activating blood circulation, combined with Western medical regimens for anticoagulation and immunomodulation. This article presents one proven case where Dr. Lou applied integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine to treat infertility, for the reference of peers.
