Abstract: Objective To explore the effectiveness Objective To investigate the efficacy of an Internet Plus-based intelligent remote management model in perimenopausal hypertensive patients, including physiological outcomes (blood pressure control rate) and patient-reported outcomes (medication adherence and sleep quality), thereby providing evidence for subsequent clinical application. Methods Perimenopausal patients with primary hypertension who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College between June 2024 and January 2025 were enrolled, with 164 cases completing valid follow-up. The control group received conventional outpatient follow-up management, while the intervention group received an Internet Plus-based intelligent remote management model. Follow-up assessments were conducted at baseline and at 1, 3, and 6 months post-intervention. Results Using repeated measures analysis of variance: For blood pressure control rate, the intervention significantly influenced the control rate, with the intervention group demonstrating approximately 2.42 times higher odds of achieving target blood pressure compared to the control group (B=0.88, P<0.05). For medication adherence, the intervention significantly influenced adherence levels, with the intervention group showing significantly improved adherence grades over time, reaching 1.88 times that of the control group (P<0.05). For sleep quality, the intervention significantly influenced sleep quality outcomes, with the intervention group showing significant reduction in total Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) scores over time, indicating improved sleep quality (interaction effect P<0.05). Conclusion The Internet Plus-based intelligent remote chronic disease management model outperforms traditional outpatient follow-up management in terms of blood pressure control rate, medication adherence, and sleep quality among perimenopausal hypertensive patients. The interaction effects demonstrate that intervention benefits exhibit cumulative improvement over time.
