Abstract: Professor Tan Meixiu posits that perimenopausal syndrome originates from kidney deficiency causing yin-yang imbalance, coupled with weakened dynamic interactions among multiple organs. Guided by the principle of staged treatment, early intervention focuses on nourishing heart and liver functions while regulating qi and blood circulation, whereas mid-to-late stages emphasize tonifying spleen and kidney functions along with enhancing essence and blood production. Through flexible application of modified Chinese herbal formulas and integrated internal-external therapies, this multi-faceted approach has demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes. This compilation summarizes Professor Tan Meixius clinical experience for reference.
