Abstract: Objective To conduct a bibliometric analysis of domestic literature on nutcracker syndrome using CiteSpace and draw a visual map to summarize the current research status, hotspots, and development trends in this field. Methods Literature on nutcracker syndrome published in CNKI, WanFang, and VIP databases from the establishment of the databases to September 19, 2025 was retrieved. After duplicate checking and other processing, bibliometric and visual analysis were conducted. Results A total of 632 relevant articles were included. The number of publications showed an overall upward trend. The author with the highest number of publications was Zhang Bo, and the institution with the highest number of publications was the Department of Urology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University. Co-occurrence analysis of authors and institutions showed that there was little collaboration and loose connections among authors and institutions in this field. High-frequency Keywordsincluded hematuria, color Doppler ultrasound, 3D printing, ultrasound, and treatment. The research hotspots in this field have gradually shifted, and the current research focus is on the application of minimally invasive techniques and 3D printing technology. Conclusion Research groups and institutions in this field have not yet formed close connections and lack academic exchanges and extensive cooperation. It is necessary for all parties to deepen communication and strengthen cooperation to promote the high-quality development of the discipline. Ultrasound or color Doppler ultrasound is the preferred auxiliary diagnostic method, and related research has become mature. Minimally invasive treatment is a research hotspot and trend, especially the application of 3D printing technology.
