Abstract: Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG) is characterised by its protracted course and complex pathogenesis, with no specific therapeutic agents currently. Its incidence has been increasing annually due to factors such as changes in lifestyle. Professor Wang posits that it primarily stems from deficiencies in the viscera, including gastric yin deficiency, Imbalance in the Middle Burner and the intermingling of cold and heat. Concurrently complicated by internal stagnation of stasis-toxin. Drawing upon years of clinical practice, Professor Wang Bangcai synthesised the core pathogenesis into the ‘Deficiency-Toxin-biood Stasis’ theory. He combines macro and micro perspectives, harmonising the tangible and intangible. With He combines macro and micro perspectives, harmonising the tangible and intangible, with remarkable clinical treatments.
