Abstract: 【】Insulin resistance, as a core pathological feature of metabolic diseases, is closely related to the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer. This article focuses on the relationship between insulin resistance and the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer, and from a metabolic perspective, mainly discusses how it promotes the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer through mechanisms such as the insulin/IGF signaling axis, chronic inflammation and adipokine imbalance, and intestinal flora imbalance. It also summarizes the value of drug and non-drug intervention strategies in improving insulin resistance and the prognosis of colorectal cancer, aiming to provide a reference for the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer in the future.
