Abstract: Objective: This study aims to explore the application of the Case-Based Learning (CBL) model in the Clinical Pharmacology course for international students, addressing issues such as international students insufficient understanding of key concepts and difficulties in cross-cultural communication under traditional teaching methods. Methods: For the Clinical Pharmacology course taken by international medical students at Guangzhou Medical University, a CBL teaching program was designed and implemented. Measures included constructing a case database, conducting group discussions, and establishing a multi-dimensional assessment and evaluation system. Results: Following the implementation of CBL, the learning enthusiasm of international students significantly increased, the integration of pharmacological theory with clinical practice was promoted, and course examination scores showed improvement. Conclusion: The CBL teaching model can effectively enhance learning outcomes in the Clinical Pharmacology course for international students, improve their self-directed learning and cross-cultural communication abilities, providing a feasible path for reforming the education of international medical students.
