Abstract: Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease that tends to occur in the middle of the face. Its mechanism is very complex. In recent years, a large number of studies have shown that microbial infection is significantly related to the pathogenesis of rosacea. Demodex follicularis, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacillus Oleronius, Cutibacterium acnes, Helicobacter pylori and small intestine bacteria are all microorganisms associated with rosacea. In this paper, we summarized the recent domestic and foreign studies on the relationship between the above microorganisms and rosacea, and discussed the mechanism of action, hoping to further clarify the influence of microorganisms on the pathophysiology of rosacea and provide more directions for treatment.
