Abstract: Objective To investigate the predictive value of serum albumin (ALB), C-reactive protein (CRP) and globulin (GLB) in recurrent diabetes foot ulcer. Methods From January 2020 to November 2023, 59 patients with recurrent diabetes foot ulcers admitted to the Third Hospital of Wuhan City were selected as the recurrent group, and 42 patients with diabetes foot ulcers that did not recur in the same time were selected as the control group. The serum levels of ALB, CRP, globulin and creatinine of the two groups were compared, and the influencing factors of recurrent diabetes foot ulcers were tested by logistic regression analysis; Draw receiver operating characteristic (ROC curve) to analyze the predictive value of serum ALB, CRP and GLB anhydride on recurrent diabetes foot ulcer. Results The ALB level in the recurrent group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), and the CRP and GLB levels were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The area under the curve (AUC) of ALB, CRP, and GLB for predicting recurrent diabetes foot ulcer was 0.782 (95% CI: 0.691~0.874), 0.824 (95% CI: 0.742~0.906), and 0.686 (95% CI: 0.582~0.790), respectively. The optimal cutoff values were 38.85g/L, 8.31mg/L, and 32.85g/L, respectively. The AUC of ALB, CRP, and GLB for predicting recurrent diabetes foot ulcer was 0.849 (95% CI: 0.775~0.922), which was higher than that of ALB, CRP and GLB alone in predicting AUC of recurrent diabetes foot ulcer (P<0.05). Conclusion The serum ALB level in patients with recurrent diabetes foot ulcer is decreased, while CRP and GLB levels are increased; At the same time, ALB, CRP and GLB have a certain predictive value for recurrent diabetes foot ulcer, and the combined prediction value of the three is higher for recurrent diabetes foot ulcer.
