Abstract: Quality control of physical data is important in cohort studies. In this study, 17420 physical data in 2020 and 12764 physical data in 2021 collected by the Natural Population Cohort Study of West China Hospital of Sichuan University were used. The data collected in 2020 (before optimization) and 2021 (after optimization) were evaluated and compared from the aspects of standardization, completeness, accuracy, consistency and logic. The results showed that there was a large gap in the completeness and logic evaluation between the two years, while there was no significant gap in the standardization, accuracy and consistency. In the completeness assessment, there was a high incomplete rate of blood pressure data in 2020, while the incomplete data were mainly distributed in hip circumference, pulse, waist circumference, etc., with an incomplete rate within 1.72‰. In the logical review, there were more logical abnormalities in 2020 than in 2021, accounting for 10.13%. According to the above evaluation results, it is particularly important to optimize and adjust the data collection process and realize the integrated information system management.
