Research progress of stem cell therapy for Hirschsprung disease

  Abstract: Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) is a congenital intestinal disease, also known as intestinal aganglionosis. Stem cells are a group of cells with high ability of proliferation and multi-directional differentiation, which can be used for the transplantation of diseased intestinal segments in patients with HSCR, and is expected to repair the missing intestinal ganglion cells.This article mainly reviews the research progress of stem cell therapy for HSCR.
