A Study on Mechanisms of Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress in Dry Eye Based on Theory of Fluid Imbalance

• 摘要：以“津液失调”理论为切入点,探讨其与内质网应激机制在干眼发生发展中的相关性。认为内质网稳态失衡是津液失调的重要前提,蛋白折叠与分泌功能障碍为其具体表现,炎症反应与氧化应激为关键病理过程,目失濡养为最终临床表现。从微观分子机制层面阐释津液失调的内涵,可为从“津液失调”角度认识干眼发病机制及中医干预靶点提供理论依据。

  Abstract: Taking the theory of ‘fluid imbalance’ as a starting point, this study explores its correlation with endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress mechanisms in the onset and progression of dry eye. It posits that disruption of ER homeostasis is a key prerequisite for fluid imbalance, with impaired protein folding and secretion serving as its specific manifestations; inflammatory responses and oxidative stress constitute the key pathological processes; and insufficient lubrication of the eye represents the ultimate clinical manifestation. Elucidating the implications of fluid imbalance at the level of microscopic molecular mechanisms provides a theoretical basis for understanding the pathogenesis of dry eye from the perspective of ‘fluid imbalance’ and for identifying targets for Traditional Chinese Medicine intervention.
