Application prospects of Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes in wound hemostasis

• 摘要：外伤止血在急救医学中至关重要，其目标在于快速控制出血并降低失血性休克风险，以提升患者生存率。伴随材料科学与医学技术的进步，外伤止血的方式和材料取得显著进展。碳材料因良好的生物相容性备受关注，如石墨烯、单臂碳纳米管、富勒烯等碳纳米材料等；其中单臂碳纳米管（Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes，SWCNTs），作为由单层石墨烯卷曲而成的具有独特一维结构的管状分子材料，在电子、光电子器件、生物医药、能源存储和转换等众多领域展现出广阔应用前景。本文通过对单臂碳纳米管的材料特性以及其自身止血机制进行综述以探讨其在止血应用上的前景。

  Abstract: Trauma hemostasis is crucial in emergency medicine, with the goal of quickly controlling bleeding and reducing the risk of hemorrhagic shock to improve patient survival. With the advancement of materials science and medical technology, significant progress has been made in the methods and materials for wound hemostasis. Carbon materials have attracted much attention due to their excellent biocompatibility, such as graphene, single arm carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, and other carbon nanomaterials; Among them, Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes(SWCNTs), as a unique one-dimensional structure of tubular molecular materials coiled from single-layer graphene, have shown broad application prospects in many fields such as electronics, optoelectronic devices, biomedicine, energy storage and conversion. Therefore, this article focuses on exploring the application prospects of single arm carbon nanotubes in the field of hemostasis based on their own characteristics and strong drug loading capacity.
