Experience in treating hemorrhoids based on the theory of “Damp-Heat Underflow”

• 摘要：文章从“湿热下注”的角度解析石荣教授论治痔病的经验。石荣教授根据其经验提出在治疗上应当分消湿热，重在祛湿，三焦并治，使湿得以化，热得以清；同时应当根据不同的症状特点随症加减、灵活配伍；还应当注重整体治疗与局部治疗相配合，内外并治。石荣教授根据多年临床经验总结出常用的内治、外治验方各一，并附典型验案一则。

  Abstract: The article analyses Professor Shi Rongs experience in treating haemorrhoids from the perspective of ‘dampness-heat injection’. Based on his experience, Professor Shi Rong suggests that the treatment should be divided into dampness and heat, focusing on eliminating dampness and treating the three jiao, so that the dampness can be dissolved and the heat can be cleared; at the same time, it should be based on the different symptomatic characteristics of the disease, with the addition and subtraction of the symptoms, and flexibility in the mix; it should also pay attention to the overall treatment in conjunction with the local treatment, and the internal and external treatments. Based on many years of clinical experience, Professor Shi Rong summarised the common internal and external treatment prescriptions with a typical case.
