Abstract: Purpose/Significance As a mental development disorder, autism often brings some mental harm, intellectual influence and interpersonal communication barriers to patients. Paroxetine is an antidepressant and is also used to treat autism. In this paper, by mining the comments of the Internet public about Paxil treatment of autism, the focus of attention and emotional attitude of the Internet public were obtained. Method/Process BTM topic model and sentiment analysis method were used to analyze the comments on paroxetine treatment for autism from multiple media platforms, and to explore the themes and emotional tendencies of the texts. Result/Conclusion This paper analyzed the patients focus of attention and emotional attitude towards drugs from five aspects, providing valuable information for autistic patients and medical workers, and providing certain references for better meeting the needs of patients and improving their quality of life in the future.
