Analysis of the key elements on people-centered integrated health care system

Abstract: Great achievements have been made in the construction and reform of the health care system in recent years, in accordance with the guidelines for health work in new era and requirements of comprehensively promoting the Healthy China construction. However, there are still gaps in meeting people’s health demands and the requirements of Healthy China construction. Establishment of a people-centered integrated health care system is not only a developing trend, but also an inevitable requirement of high-quality development of health undertakings. This paper holds that the people-centered integrated health care system should fully implement the development concept of taking peoples health as the center and ensure peoples health in all aspects of the whole life cycle. Its key elements include the full implementation of the people-centered concept; the construction of a health care system covering all aspects of the whole life circle; the provision of continuous, coordinated, comprehensive, personalized and integrated health care services; an incentive compatibility mechanism oriented by division and cooperation; a co-governance and sharing governance mechanism and an efficient communication and feedback mechanism; and an interconnected information system, et al. Finally, the paper puts forward the policy enlightenments and suggestions of constructing the integrated health care system, which can be used for reference in decision-making.
