Abstract: Abstract:Objective To explore the classification of ultrasound breast imaging reporting and data system (BI-RADS) classification combined with PLR and NLR in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast masses. Methods A total of 390 female patients with breast masses diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects. According to the postoperative pathological diagnosis, they were divided into a benign mass group of 140 cases and a malignant mass group of 250 cases. The BI-RADS classification, PLR and NLR test results of the patients were collected and compared, Logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses were used to evaluate the diagnostic performance of BI-RADS classification in combination with PLR and NLR for differentiating benign from malignant breast masses. Results The proportion of patients with BI-RADS category 4a and above, as well as the levels of PLR and NLR, were significantly higher than those in the benign group(P<0.001)and these markers were identified as risk factors for malignant breast masses (OR > 1, P < 0.05).Conclusion Ultrasound BI-RADS classification combined with PLR and NLR could improve the diagnostic efficacy for distinguishing benign and malignant breast masses,it should be widely adopted.
