Abstract: Objective To investigate the current status of digital health literacy among older adults in a community in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, and to analyse the factors affecting it. Methods A convenience sample of 276 elderly people (≥60 years old) in a community in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, was selected from March to May 2025 to investigate and analyse the current status of digital health literacy and the factors influencing it. Results The average score of digital health literacy of elderly people in a community in Zhangye City, Gansu Province was (32.49±14.96), and the scores of all dimensions did not reach the medium standard (3 points). Among them, the ability to acquire and assess digital health information (mean score 2.32±1.22) was relatively high among the three dimensions, but the ability to interact with digital health information (mean score 1.56±0.92) and the ability to apply digital health information (mean score 2.31±0.91) were insufficient. Conclusion The digital health literacy level of older adults in a community in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is low, and older adults' participation in the field of digital health and their ability to translate their practice need to be improved.
