Research on the Current Status of Scientific Data Management Services in Medical Universities in China

  Abstract: Purpose/Significance To search the libraries, information centers, data management platforms and affiliated hospitals of medical colleges and universities in China, sort out and analyze the current situation of scientific data management services provided by medical colleges and universities, and put forward suggestions for the problems existing in the current services, so as to improve the scientific data management services provided by medical colleges and universities for researchers. Method/Process Using online survey and content analysis comparison methods, 60 representative medical universities were selected as research objects, and the current status of university services was analyzed through the construction of a scientific data management service framework. Result/Conclusion At present, medical universities have problems with uneven service quality, scattered data platforms, and lack of security mechanisms in scientific data management services. It is recommended to improving the quality of data services, strengthening platform standard collaboration and optimization, and improving privacy and security systems to promote efficient utilization and compliant sharing of medical scientific data.
