Abstract: Purpose/Significance To establish a quantitative evaluation system for innovation translation capability of research-oriented hospitals and conduct empirical research on evaluation effectiveness. Methods/Process The evaluation system was constructed through literature review, Delphi method, and brainstorming. The entropy weight method and CRITIC combination evaluation were employed to calculate comprehensive scores and rankings of innovation translation capability among Chinese research-oriented hospitals. Spearmans rank correlation coefficient method was adopted to verify evaluation effectiveness. Results/Conclusion This study developed a quantitative evaluation system comprising 4 first-level indicators and 16 second-level indicators. Scores and rankings of innovation translation capability were calculated for 44 research-oriented hospitals, with effectiveness verification. Results demonstrate that the established evaluation system shows significant consistency with other authoritative rankings. While the overall innovation translation capability of Chinese research-oriented hospitals continues to improve, significant disparities persist in translation capacity among different institutions.
