Contrast agent induced "cerebral infarction" imaging changes: a case of Contrast-induced Encephalopathy and literature review

• 摘要：造影剂引起的脑病 （Contrast-induced Encephalopathy，CIE） 是一种比较罕见的造影剂所致并发症。与血管造影术过程中的造影剂暴露有关，与剂量不一定相关，症状通常是短暂的可逆的，头部病灶影像消失，但偶尔会导致永久性并发症或死亡。我们在此报道一例67岁女性未破裂颅内动脉瘤导致右侧眼睑下垂，视物重影的病例。在对颅内动脉瘤进行诊断性脑血管造影刚结束时，患者出现了恶心，神志淡漠，后逐渐出现意识障碍加深、右侧肢体肌力下降。由于血管造影后症状急性发作以及头部类似”脑梗死”特征性影像改变，该患者被诊断为 CIE。

  Abstract: Contrast-induced Encephalopathy (CIE) is a rare complication caused by Contrast agents. Associated with contrast agent exposure during angiography, and not necessarily related to dose, symptoms are usually transient and reversible, with head lesion images disappearing, but can occasionally lead to permanent complications or death. We present a case of right eyelid droop and double vision in a 67-year-old woman with an unruptured intracranial aneurysm. At the end of the diagnostic cerebral angiography for intracranial aneurysm, the patient developed nausea and low consciousness, and then gradually developed deeper consciousness disturbance and decreased muscle strength of the right limb. The patient was diagnosed with CIE
