Abstract: This paper has investigated the actual demands of monitoring of death causes in Wuhan,designed and implemented the geographic information system of death cause monitoring in Wuhan based on the technology of ArcGIS,elaborated the construction of the system from the following aspects,overall architecture,key technologies,design of function and database,pointed that this system can improve the work of monitoring of death causes and assist managers in making relevant decisions.
